Goaly keeper is a very special person and have special rules that apply only for him.

Rules for Goalies:

1. The goaly cannot have the ball in his hands for more than 6 seconds.

2. Goalies can use any part of their body to catch the ball.

3. They can either pass or shoot or even throw to their teammates.

4. Goalkeeper should wear different color of jersey which helps referee to recognize the goaly.

5. Goalkeeper cannot use the hand if passed to another teammate. This applies when in throw-in, but less common

6. Once the goalkeeper puts the ball back into play on the ground, they can't pick it up again with their hands.

A goaly is very vulnerable to an injury. Thus serious decision are taken when a goalkeeper is harmed.

Penalties can be severe including a goal kick and red card for players that endanger the goalkeeper.
